Epifanes Rubbed Effect Varnish is quick drying, scratch resistance one component interior varnish based on urethane alkyd resins. This varnish gives a very pleasant warm satin feel. It provides great protection against alcohol and other household chemicals.
As a satin finishing coat in a new system or as a maintenance satin varnish in an existing system. Suited for application on virtually every varnish. On bare wood always start with several high gloss build up coats. The high gloss varnish will fill the wood grain faster. The build in UV filter of the high gloss build up will also protect the wood against yellowing.
